Five Minute Poetry: Utopia...

I'm at a standstill and yet I should be happy knowing that I am standing...Still...Stoic and viscous...Steady and sturdy...Yet lopsided and lewd...Serpent-like and slithering slyly towards a singular sight I've sought for far too long...And I'm finding my full feelings frighteningly far-fetched...Fascinated, I reach as if though thoughts could be thoroughly attained by just thinking them to be truth...Ah, I am foolish and far too fastidious to the foul-mouthed fantasy that is the Utopia in you...

Sex Pixels: Simulated Legos never looked so good...

This is kind of great to me...Legos are amazing conduits for childhood creativity...Naked women are amazing conduits for teenage and adult male masturbatory practice...Put the two together and you've got...Well...A sex-driven, titillating creative piece by photographer Jean-Yves Lemoigne called Sex Pixels...Brilliant I say...Brilliant...The shots were taken for the third issue of Amusement magazine...And can be seen after the jump...Warning: These are the sexiest pixelated beauties you'll ever see...

Louis Vuitton x Stephen Sprouse: The Second Coming...

Ok, it's safe to say I'm excited again about fashion...My adoration for the fusion of street art and fashion has been well satisfied by the second collaboration of one of my favorite luxe brands and one of my favorite graffiti artists...I used to be a Louis Vuitton girl hella hard until I realized that they were lacking an urban edge and I grew tired of the Technicolor and drab brown colorways...Then in 2001, they did a collab with Stephen Sprouse that changed my perspective and I bought into it...Til I got broke...Then I grew bored again...Now, my appetite is whet and the neon colorways sealed the deal...This Thursday is the launch of the Stephen Sprouse collection at the Louis Vuitton Flagship store in SoHo...There is a preview for some of the collection after the jump...A few things to note:
A)Neon...Neon...Neon!! (Handbags, Sunglasses, Leggings, Shoes...Oh my!)
B)Stephen Strouse's signature rose pattern on wallets and handbags
C)Graffiti skateboard deck in a monogram skateboard trunk (Retails @ just over $8,000...Send your donations now)

Find out more about Stephen Sprouse and preview more of the collection here...

Aja's on Hiatus: Back in 5...

Sorry ya'll...Like, for serious sorry...Please believe I've noticed how much of a loafer I've been over the past couple of months (I attribute this to the craziness of that which is my life)...I've also taken a keen note to the fact that I've been lacking material of much substance or regularity, and I have a keen sense on just how bad my typing skills are (if you've been messaging me lately, you catch my drift)...Anyway...I'm figuring out how to skin this cat, so to speak...I hear there's more than one way...And no, I don't mean literally...I haven't lost my mind completely...yet...Back in a flash my ninjas!...
